The announcement by the European Investment Bank of €90 million in funding for development at University College Dublin has been warmly welcomed by Independent MEP Marian Harkin.  She also welcomed the announcement of 257 jobs for assistants to be based in the EU Institutions and to be restricted to eight EU countries including Ireland.  “The funding of six buildings at the UCD campus including student accommodation, the second phase of the Science Centre and construction of a new School of Law will further enhance the college as one of Europe’s top table universities, Marian Harkin said.
